All State Baseball Posted December 9, 2017 Posted December 9, 2017 Joel Sherman ✔@Joelsherman1 Source: Stanton from #Marlins to #Yankees is “virtually done.” Close to finish line. Hear #Marlins will get at least Starlin Castro plus good but not top prospects if completed. Again physical review can still be part of this so nothing final, but close.
NEERFAN Posted December 9, 2017 Posted December 9, 2017 During the UK/Monmouth game, ESPN reminded me of my five year old. They first asked Boone about the addition and he declined, then moments later the sideline reporter asked Cashman the same question.
John Anthony Posted December 9, 2017 Posted December 9, 2017 For Castro and low to mid grade prospects.
Voice of Reason Posted December 9, 2017 Posted December 9, 2017 Hopefully Stanton will turn this deal down like he did the other ones.
HammerTime Posted December 9, 2017 Posted December 9, 2017 Hopefully Stanton will turn this deal down like he did the other ones. It's done.
sweet16 Posted December 9, 2017 Posted December 9, 2017 Hopefully Stanton will turn this deal down like he did the other ones. This was one of the teams he wanted to go to.
Just Hangin Around Posted December 9, 2017 Posted December 9, 2017 Only the Yankees can steal a 59 HR guy and absorb that much contract money, $265m of the remaing $295m contract.
silo11 Posted December 9, 2017 Posted December 9, 2017 Yankees really didn't need another hitter, unless he played 3b. They need pitching. They won't be getting that with this deal.
TTS_JF Posted December 11, 2017 Posted December 11, 2017 Between Stanton and Judge there's going to be some bombs hit.
Jack of all Trades Posted December 11, 2017 Posted December 11, 2017 I will go on record right now and say that the Yankees are not in the World Series, just call it a hunch.
CBDV Posted December 12, 2017 Posted December 12, 2017 Former fave of the Yankees franchise trades away start player of a franchise he is running for basically a washing machine and a set of uniforms.... Nothing shady about that deal at all....

Nothing shady about that deal at all.... You don't spend millions of dollars to buy a team just to help your former team. As they seen they weren't winning with him. Might as well save money get new players and build from the bottom up.
