Decent hire for Tennessee under the circumstances. Bad news for Alabama though. This early signing period is crucial and Pruitt will have to work really hard up until the signing period to salvage a recruiting class at Tennessee. Hard to do that and get a gameplan ready for Clemson. I believe Saban will cut ties immediately.

I'm hearing he may also be bring Alabama's linebacker coach Tosh Lupoi as his DC.

It seems like Alabama has a coordinator get hired about every year before the playoffs and is an extra distraction. I guess that happens when you are a top tier program.
