YES, some play-action passes to Conrad would've been nice on first down to mix it up, caught a 46 yd TD on first series then didn't have a pass thrown in his direction rest of game that I remember, he will probably be playing in NFL one day!!! Noticed Mizzou poured it on Fla when they got the lead, wonder why they didn't go conservative too??
November 5, 20178 yr This UK loss is all on the Defense. They couldn't cover, tackle or stop a soul yesterday. All teams have a few too may conservative play calls every game. When you have 455 yds of Offense you should win. QB Johnson was a warrior playing injured and Benny lit them up as well. Get better on Defense or keep losing.
November 5, 20178 yr Sounds like the Cats got caught up in "play not to lose" and it bit them. Frustrating! I root for UK especially because my good friend John Schlarman is on the coaching staff and I know how hard he/they work, the hours they put in, and the passion they have for the program. It's games like this that must make them want to go out and find a bridge abutment.
