Could Kentucky be next?

Featured Replies

Before anyone follows up on this post in this thread, UKMF posted some info in another thread showing that Pitino appears to have knowledge of the money and was involved in the process.

All assuming the reports that Pitino is in fact coach 2 are accurate.

Matt Jones is a well documented clown. So, im leaning towards the latter. However, your assessment is correct.

Matt Jones on KSR:

"I'm not worried about Coach Calipari. He's a smart guy, but he's not smarter than every journalist out there, the NCAA, and the FBI. Everybody wants to get Cal. He's like Clinton, no he's like Trump. Everyone wants to get him on something. Everyone wants to find something but maybe there's actually nothing for them to get".

"Everyone has been trying to get Calipari for 8 years and they have nothing".

"If Kentucky ever does get in trouble, it won't be because of World Wide Wes. I would be shocked. Do you not think if the NCAA could get us in trouble for WWW, we'd already be caught. Do you think he'd be sitting court side every game if Kentucky was worried about being caught. He's the most scrutinized person in college bball".

"Don't let other people convince you we are cheating. Don't have a guilty complex".

Which is either dead on or he's gonna look real dumb down the road lol.

I am a homer, but as a smart man said recently, Cal's whole recruiting pitch is going to the NBA and making millions quickly. Paying kids to go there would take a lot of wind out of that sail.

No kidding.

Figured people might be interested in his thoughts.

Am I correct that the investigation they are doing only dates back to 2015?

John Wall had some comments on the whole scandal....

“If you are the No. 1 guy or the top guy, you’re going to have guys come at you. But you have to be smart about it. If you are only going to school for one year, there’s no point in doing all the extra stuff. If you don’t have any money and have been poor your whole life, another eight months won’t hurt,” Wall said.

“I was trusting no one. Listen, I grew up without a dad since the age of nine. It was my mom working three or four jobs to support our family. If she could provide from me then, then she could provide for me when I was 17 or 18 years old for a few months. You know what I mean? You couldn’t do nothing for me then. I’d been poor my whole life. Eight months? What is that money going to do for me? I was fine with it.”

Kentucky fans pay very well after the season ends and if the stars declare. Cal doesn’t front load the deal therefore, there is nothing on him.

If Cal is clean in all this, it will be the biggest up yours he could ever give to the NCAA and all his detractors.

There is a less than zero chance that Cal will ever be caught cheating because he doesn't period!

I've seen this World Wide Wes guy mentioned several times. Pardon my ignorance, but who is he exactly? An agent or something?

World Wide Wes would of been caught by now if he had any wrong doing, the NCAA has known about him for years and spoke with him numerous times.

The NCAA is not doing the investigating this time.

He literally invented this game. Lol.

I am intrigued. Please elaborate.
