How much does it cost to get into a football game at your stadium? Adults? Students?

Featured Replies

$6 for adults & $4 for students in Fayette County at the public schools. Can't answer for LexCath or LCA, haven't been to a game at either place in years now.

Pay to get in, come on. LOL

For paying public, I'm pretty sure it's 6 for adults and 3 students/senior citizens at NewCath games

From Trinity website:Varsity football and varsity basketball …

$6 pre sell at the Trinity Athletics office during the week of the game

$7 at the gate day of game

Free ages 10 and under

For Trinity Students:

Free admission with a Trinity Sports Pass (available for purchase in the Trinity Athletics Office).

NOTE – For special games (i.e., Trinity vs. St. X football game at PJCS) and for post season playoff games, we will announce ticket practices leading up to the game.

If Im allowed to ask, how much for a Sports Pass.

I used to fuss about the bowl game prices also. But It's two games and all the schools have to get paid. I would love to see a full day on the first or second Sat that starts about noon and has 4 games. Good games. Try to get a rematch of some of the state final or semi state games. "BluegrassPrep Bowl" has a nice sound to it. Played at EKU or Georgetown maybe.

LCA is $6 and $4, too.

Last week at Cooper the senior price was $ 3.00. pleasantly surprised.

Bracken County: Adults $5, Students $3, Honor Roll students free

Expect prices to rise a bit this coming season due to the new 6% state sales tax that will lead to nearly everything in the state being taxed, including non profits. My guess is that most schools won't go with the 6% increase, they will just round off the ticket prices to a $.50 to $1 increase to keep the math simple and also pay for the extra accounting work on their end for the work needed for the quarterly statement treasurer's payments.

Schools dont have to pay the tax on ticket sales, per exception 170.

I must have missed that somewhere. The way I took it is that even non profits would have to start charging sales tax for athletic events. I missed the part where schools would be excluded. Which makes me wonder, outside of schools, how many non profits are there that even host athletic events?

Non-profit 501©(3) groups must collect sales tax on their charges for all categories of taxable admissions for periods beginning July 1, 2018, forward.

The Kentucky Supreme Court recently held that the Ky. Const. Section 170 exemption for charitable institutions applied only to property taxes and not to excise taxes (sales and use tax). The only sales tax exemptions for 501©(3) charitable, educational, and religious organizations are those explicitly listed in KRS Chapter 139. Except for the very narrow exemptions for horse racetracks, historical sites, county fairs, elementary and secondary schools, and non-profit 501©(3) school-sponsored clubs and organizations, all other entities engaged in sales of admissions must begin collecting tax on these sales.
