If other, please indicate what it would be.

For those of us that are staycationers, we can't choose that.

I'd go with the Beach, I suppose.

Beach, beach, and more beach. Not a fan of camping, never been on a cruise, and can't imagine spending more than a day at an amusement park.

I usually stay in-state and try to get caught up on photo projects I want to do, as well as visit friends I've not seen in a while.

I'm off next week and will go Monday down to Letcher Co. and the mountains to camp and hike, and hopefully get up with an old buddy who lives just outside of Whitesburg in Mayking.

Will spend the latter part of the week at the folks' place visiting with them and my niece and nephew. May take them up to see something in NoKy or Cincy.

Get another week in July but will have Forecastle on the front end of that week. I may just spend the latter part of that week working at the bar to put back some cash. I have a wedding to go to last weekend of July in NoKy.

Give me the beach every time.

Beach bound in the very near future and just returned from the beach. That's may idea of a vacation. Don't mind a little amusement park visit, but just have not done it in a while. Mrs. TAC is not a thrill seeker. Camping?? I have a farm with a camper, that takes care of any urge to do that. Would love to cruise, but it gets costly.

I voted other. I really enjoy being in the mountains. I guess that is a little different than camping as camping could be anywhere and staying in the mountains doesn't have to involve camping. I prefer a cabin to a tent, but I do enjoy hiking and driving along mountain roads.

Love boating on a lake, especially if staying on a house boat but a lodge, cabin, camper or heck even a tent in nice weather is fine with me. I will a lake surrounded by beautiful woods and mountains and wildlife, with fishing and water skiing over just sitting on tiny rocks (sand) and staring at a big body of water any day.

I enjoy any and all listed, and while I'm not really a beach person, I went beach because I assume if I'm there, I'm at a Sandals or other all-inclusive resort.

Views on the coast are top notch, but I spent the weekend in Gatlinburg and again was blown away by the massiveness of the mountains. They have a way of making you and your problems feel insignificant and that's a big part of vacation for me. Sprinkle in a little pontooning and you have yourself a dream getaway.

I voted other, because I didn't read the OP before voting. But, even if Stay cation isn't allowed, I vote other. I love exploring big cities.

I enjoy the weather that is associated with being at the beach, but being at/on the beach itself doesn't really do anything for me.

Have you ever been to Colorado? Gatlinburg is nice but the Rockies are a whole other level. I've never been one that wanted to be cremated and have my ashes spread out somewhere specific, but if I had to make a choice to go that route, it would be Bear Lake in the Rocky Mountain National Park. It's by far my favorite place that I have ever visited. I think I could just sit on a rock next to the lakeshore and stare off at the snow-capped peaks all day and not get bored.

Beach and it's not even a little close. Like HT it must be at a place on the beach.

It really depends on our mood. This year, it's the beach. 18 days.... :ylsuper:
