What has changed in Ohio to not allow teams to play Ky teams??????

 

I believe there is always movement afoot to make changes to the Harbin system and I would guess until that is settled Ohio teams might not want to committ to playing teams until they know all the side effects.

 

Some rumored changes (some have been rumored for awhile):

 

1. Receive some type of points for losing to a good team (something along the lines of the old KY system like 50 points for beating a winning record team, 40 points for beating a losing record team, 20 for losing to a winner, 10 for losing to a loser etc.) Now you get no points if you fail to beat a team.

 

2. Establish third tier points. Kind of need a physics degree on that one.

 

3. Possibly tied in with #2 but account for out of state schedule strength. Currently, some don't like that beating a 7-3 Ohio Division 1 size team from KY or any other state is similar to beating an Ohio 7-3 D 1 team.

What about Hoover? It seem that they were looking for a team to play next year. That might be a good tune-up game prior to the playoff's. You know how Dale likes to play good competition.Ha Ha

I've heard that the Birds may be playing Louisville Central, Madison Central, Hopkinsville,LexCath, and Ryle as their non-district games. Can anyone varify this?
