March 28, 20179 yr I don't think there can be any better proof that John Higgins had it out for UK. The guy was awful and made it blatantly obvious as he does everytime he officiates a UK game. John Higgins Sabotage of Kentucky on Vimeo It's not better proof. Look at my post from above on the video. Also guess who is working Again this weekend?
March 28, 20179 yr Let's forget Carolina scored 12 unanswered down the stretch after trailing by 5... apparently the officials allowed that to happen too And before that there was another stretch where they went 13 straight possessions with nada...

John Higgins Sabotage of Kentucky on Vimeo Like I said, the man doesn't belong in officiating....at any level, including jr. high school.

March 28, 20179 yr Let's forget Carolina scored 12 unanswered down the stretch after trailing by 5... apparently the officials allowed that to happen tooThat's a good point and yes, that killed the Cats, hard to win having a stretch like that. I still would've liked U.K.'s chances if they get even a decent whistle in the first half.
March 28, 20179 yr The non calls when Bam had the ball at times were not good , but the foul called on Willis on the loose ball was a joke
March 28, 20179 yr That was probably the worst call in the game. The missed foul on Fox at the end of the half and the foul on Willis stood out to me. I'm not griping and saying the refs cost UK the game, but I do enjoy objectively discussing officiating. It's a tough job. At first look, I thought the no call was correct. The defender had legal guarding position, and jumped straight up with arms extended upward ... rule of verticality. And I firmly believe you should NOT reward the offensive player for initiating contact (which you often see). However, after the initial contact, I believe BOTH defenders fouled Fox when their arms came down on his arms.

He is just an average at best ref, but there is no need for whats going on now. Ok to be disappointed, but cant lose your mind over a ball game of any kind.
March 28, 20179 yr And before that there was another stretch where they went 13 straight possessions with nada... 17* possessions equating roughly 8 minutes but that's not part of the agenda I guess

March 28, 20179 yr And this is why I wish fans didn't do stuff like this: Angry Kentucky Fans Have Found Referee John Higgins’ Roofing Company on Facebook and It’s Getting Ugly | The Big Lead I agree. There's no use in getting into the man's personal business or his life away from the court.

Yeah, he might have started straight up, but he absolutely didn't stay that way. 100% foul.
March 28, 20179 yr I hate to start a thread on UNCs on going investiagtion by the NCAA so ill bring it up here. Does anyone have any idea of what the NCAA is waiting to or whats holding them up? I read an article with a quick overview and it mentioned the fake class thing started as early as 1993, and its been investigated since around 2004. The only thing I (my own theory) could think of is, they are going to see how the Louisville Saga plays out before handing down a punishment. If they nail the Birds for strippers, then they certainly are going to have to nail Carolina for one of the biggest academic frauds in college, ever. Not just for athletes but for regular students as well.

Seeing how Thomas More got their NCAA Championship taken away from the girls basketball team because S Moss stayed at an assistant coaches house during her knee surgery rehab, I will predict nothing happens to UNC Mens Basketball because of who they are even though the UNC allegations are 1,000,000 times worse than what Thomas More was slammed for. Just more proof the NCAA is a complete joke.
