I was just randomly curious if she would have even known a rule like that was on the books. McConnell's office says that because Warren was warned for comments made before she read the King letter, she had already been alerted to the possibility of being silenced using Rule 19. So Im guessing, YES. She knew the rule.
February 8, 20179 yr Do you really believe that the Democrats thought the Republicans would never win another presidential election? That was poorly worded on my part, I meant this last election. I really believe that they thought Hillary would ride Obama's and Bill's popularity right to the White House and that was part of the reason they changed the rule. I really believe that they thought they would have the rest of Obama's term and 8 years of a Hillary Presidency to pack the courts.

All I learned about the womens march was women dressing up like vaginas, saying bad things about Trump/Daughter, nasty Woman, thoughts of blowing up White House, and the hats and the names of the hats.

February 8, 20179 yr Twitter is nothing but an echo chamber for both sides. A majority of people on both sides only follow people with the same beliefs and loose all sight of those with different opinions. It is partly to blame for the meltdown on the left they didn't realize so many disagreed with them. Trending topics on twitter are only relevant to marketers and advertisers. Pretty much the same with all social media including BGP. If not follow, only believe whom they trust and almost that is always like beliefs. That's just human nature. I have not seen anyone in these threads change their beliefs much, if at all. LB we are who we are. Either of us could give the perfect argument for our beliefs and not change the others mind. That is what made America great.

She got another 15 minutes of fame so good for her...and the Republicans. I cannot think of anyone the R's would rather run against in 4 years than her. It will be interesting if she survives re-election in 2018.

He may be saying to the Dems if you want to fight and delay EVERYTHING by procedural moves (like they have the past few weeks), I can play procedural games too. Like LB has said, Mitch is a 9th degree black belt when it comes to Senate politics. He knows 10 ways to kill you with his bare hands...he may have just been reminding the Dems who is in charge.
