NCC hoops exodus

Coaches are always analyzing players. Whether it be little league, middle school, summer practices, open gyms, etc.

To think they only look at one week of practice before moving players up is just not true.

Were you not around last season?

Yes which is why I had to laugh. I watch on this board how many put major expectations on kids all while comparing them to other people who wouldn't be a fair apples to apples comparison. Any student/athlete playing at the next level is a major accomplishment.

These are kids we're talking about.

agreed. is this poster any relation to that guy from many years ago?

You should finish what you start and the whole, "well they werent going to play after this year," is a bad excuse. They quit on their team mates in the middle of the season period.

Wow. Ten pages on this topic including a one-page detour discussing Michael Jordan. Now that is a passion for hoops.

Depends, was their a discussion with the coaches first that took place?

Does not matter. The coach could have said they are not getting in any game for the rest of the year but you still do not quit!

Why they quit is all speculation on our parts. Name calling is in bad taste.

Even if the coaches agree it is better for them to part from the team and focus on their other sports?

We're nearing the Mexican border now. :isurrender:

Any coach that encourages a player to quit during the season no matter what their talent level should stop coaching.

Quitters

You know these boys personally?

Remember these are kids and you have no idea what discussions were had between them and their parents.

I guess that's one way to spin it.
