December 28, 20169 yr Here I saw this thread title and got all excited for nothing? Looks like Marvin will return, and then so will my season ticket bills.
December 28, 20169 yr Reminder: Dusty Baker. @LRCW had to learn the lesson the hard way. Who is the football equivalent of Bryan Price? Stil not a Dusty fan
December 28, 20169 yr You'd run off the best coach this team has ever had for a really old Tom Coughlin? I'd love to see how that would play out with the roster here. Coughlin would have to release the guys that won't bow down to him and those guys are your best players, if you haven't noticed.

December 28, 20169 yr John Gruden and Josh McDaniels would be my top two coaches I would want. Can Josh McDaniel bring Tom Brady with him? If not, I'll pass. I would like to see Mike Zimmer.
December 28, 20169 yr On the positive side of this for a coach. 1. No QB issues, you have one in Dalton for 5-10 years. Some may think he will be gone, he won't. 2. Talent at the skill positions is in upper half of league 3. D-line needs upgrade but both Dunlap and Atkins are Pro Bowl caliber players. 4. Overall D talent is good Minuses: 1. O-line is in bad shape. 2. Aging at some positions on Defense 3. The enigma that is Mike Brown. Overall, this is a very good job and coaches know it. This one would be hard to deal with.
December 28, 20169 yr Can Josh McDaniel bring Tom Brady with him? If not, I'll pass. I would like to see Mike Zimmer. I would love Zimmer here. Would I have never understood is all the love for Zimmer but no one mentions Jay Gruden. When Jay was here people didnt think he was good, but he was the one who put together this offense from scratch and made it a top 10 offense his last year here. He then goes to Washington and puts his head coaching career on the line right away by benching RGIII who the owner loved for a 5th round draft pick qb named Cousins. He is now a win away this Sunday from his second consecutive playoff birth since taking over Washington. Hue Jackson and Zimmer got all the love while here, but Jay may have been the best Coach of the group.
December 28, 20169 yr So, essentially Burfict and Pacman. I don't think he would get rid of Burfict. From everything we have heard off the fielf Burfict is a great dude, when it comes to preparation and putting in the time, film study, etc he was probably the best in the lockeroom they say. His problems come when the game starts. Which while he still had his stupid moments, he did get better with it this year. I think the plays he makes out weigh the dumb ones. Plus having a coach like Coughlin, may make him realize even more he has to clean it up. Coughlin his last 2 years in New York had a head case to deal with during games in OBJ, and there was no way he would have got rid of him. Now Adam Jones could be gone with Coughlins arrival.
