In the end the $700,000 per year from Indiana will be more than offset by the state income taxes collected from those employees that will be working versus being out of work. Indiana will receive a little over $2,000,000 per year from the income taxes paid from those that will be keeping their job. Sounds to me like a good decision by the state, investing in their own workers.

As i stated previously I'm cool with the ROI.
December 2, 20169 yr Sounds to me like a good decision by the state, investing in their own workers. It can't be that simple. Otherwise, the state would have given them even more in tax breaks to save the other 1,000 or so jobs going to Mexico.

Every company in every state is there because of tax breaks and other incentives. When the incentives go away, they move. Let's not act like this is a new phenomenon. The argument and whining against this deal is solely based upon hating Trump. People are devastated that he is working toward keeping his campaign promise to keep jobs in America. He has taken advantage of lower production and labor costs overseas like most companies have, this is true. Just like the tax loopholes.
