No, it won't take a public outcry. Many of Trump's statements were deliberately vague during the campaign in order to generate free publicity. He consistently made outrageous statements, was invited to countless interviews, during which he clarified (or denied) what he said that earned him free media attention. I did not like the tactic during the campaign, but it is the reason that he was able to spend so much less money on his campaign than Hillary Clinton did.

 

Was the tactic dishonest? Sure it was, but he was running against a crook. Voters were not offered an honest alternative by the Democrats. You can blame Trump for that if you want, but Trump had nothing to do with Hillary Clinton's nomination. Considering that the Democratic Party felt the need to cheat to deliver its nomination to a truly horrible candidate in Hillary Clinton, and then outspent the opposition by a 2 to 1 margin in an attempt to buy the election, Democrats should save some of their outrage for their own party.

So, you actually believed that Hillary Clinton was going to attempt to deliver a "free" college education to every student whose parents earned less than $125,000/year and that she would "not add one penny to the debt?" If so, your faith in a crooked candidate was remarkable.

False. I don't always agree with him. That's my whole point. I'm not claiming to be close to the top 25 smartest people on this board but I am not stupid by any stretch of the imagination. Habib and Getslow challenge my thought process more than any two people on here. I agree with them on a lot but not everything. GETSLOW VOTED FOR HILLARY!!!!! The intelligence they display when they speak is evident and that attracts me to their posts. Watching people respond and deflect their questions is always fun and eye opening.

 

Dino Nova challenges me as well and I don't agree with anything he says. He makes me think and he challenges my thoughts. Dino challenges me to evaluate why I think and feel the way I do and as a result I have to figure out why I feel a certain way.

 

 

That's what I want from people. Is it a plus if I agree with them? Absolutely. But to discredit what they say because you don't agree with them is disingenuous. Especially if you look at what they say and how they say it.
