John Anthony Posted September 25, 2016 Posted September 25, 2016 Bowl dream is still alive, how SC has two wins is beyond me. Horrific football team.
futurecoach Posted September 25, 2016 Posted September 25, 2016 Two bad teams, someone had to win. I'm glad it was uk though.
All State Baseball Posted September 25, 2016 Posted September 25, 2016 UK played better tonight (2nd half) then they have all season. Keep going to whatever is working.
Randy Parker Posted September 25, 2016 Posted September 25, 2016 Great effort by the defense. Nice job by Boom & Snell too. Boom gets 15 carries for 123 yards & a TD. Benny gets 16 carries, 73 yards, & a TD.
hrcarrier Posted September 25, 2016 Posted September 25, 2016 Bowl dream is still alive, how SC has two wins is beyond me. Horrific football team. I agree and thought it was going to be a very rough season for South Carolina after watching them play Vanderbilt.
John Anthony Posted September 25, 2016 Posted September 25, 2016 Not sure if it's officially Johnson's team yet but it's sure close to being.
Hearsay Posted September 25, 2016 Posted September 25, 2016 Nice job by the true freshmen. Not sure why S.C. abandoned the run in the 2nd half, but Kentucky DB's played much better man coverage today. Win is a win.
HammerTime Posted September 25, 2016 Posted September 25, 2016 Pretty sure SC is awful, but still nice to get back on track vs an SEC team. Snell and Jones look they are gonna be good ones.

Win is a win. I thought SC's play calling was shaky. They ran the ball well on the edge in the first half and seemed to completely go away from it. Also, I would have called that swing pass they were running every series as UK never did contain it, although I'm sure glad they didn't.

Missed on it a couple times in the 4th, might be why they gave up on it. Tried it last time around 3 minutes to go and he over threw the RB.
futurecoach Posted September 25, 2016 Posted September 25, 2016 Not sure if it's officially Johnson's team yet but it's sure close to being. The team got the win, however what exactly did he do in this game that says he is the man? A completion percentage in the 50s, only 120 yards passing, 1 interception, zero tds, and only 9 yards rushing on 13 carries. Those numbers against a bad south Carolina team doesn't scream he locked it down. In any case it's an example of qbs getting to much credit for wins and to much blame for losses. If not for the running game and defense playing good for a change, uk loses. Just like in the first game of the year Barker put up great numbers and over 35 points. However since the defense sucked that day, they lose. When they play Bama and when Bama takes away the running game. I think we will have a better answer on Johnson. He very well could end up looking bad like Barker did the Florida game. The Bama game will show if he should lock it down. They won't win, but seeing how he does without a running game will tell the tale.
ThrillVille Cardinal51 Posted September 25, 2016 Posted September 25, 2016 Glad the Cats found a way to win!
NKYknowitall Posted September 25, 2016 Posted September 25, 2016 WOW... how bad does SC have to be to lose to UK?
