September 25, 20169 yr Tonight was my first night in the press box at a UK football game. Some thoughts... - Best atmosphere at Commonwealth in a while; especially in the 2nd half when UK started moving the ball - The running back combo should be Boom and Snell; no question about it. I like Kemp but he's clearly No. 3 at this point. - You can say what you want about Stephen Johnson but I'll say this... he has 2 wins. - The bowl dream is alive for UK; they need to survive a beatdown at Alabama and beat Vanderbilt. Then they are 3-3 with a bye week and some beatable teams on the 2nd half of the schedule.
September 25, 20169 yr It was good to finally meet @lawildcat tonight and also good to see some old friends and familiar faces as well. I had a good time tonight at the game. Commonwealth Stadium looks the best I have ever seen it. South Carolina is not a good team. Vegas had UK as the favorite for a reason. I don't remember seeing an SC team this bad before. Stephen Johnson may have two wins but I haven't seen anything from him yet to make me comfortable to hand him the keys to the team. He missed a lot of WRs tonight and if we are going to be all of the way honest this game isn't won without the work of Boom and Snell. They won this game tonight. Johnson has potential but there is a reason why he was the #2 QB and I saw why tonight. Did Stoops take over the defense tonight? I know it won't matter much next weekend but I don't know if SC's horrible offense created an optical illusion tonight. I feel like we saw an optical illusion tonight. This was a game UK needed to win for a lot of reasons. Most important is this is a game they should have won and they did. It's good to see progress but I'm still approaching this success cautiously.

September 25, 20169 yr Big win! Had to have it. When you can run the football and play a little D ya got a shot. Special teams has been so much better and not really talked about, but man it's huge!
