France under attack again?

Featured Replies

Do you believe this terrible tragedy could happen in the US?

It would be naive to think it couldn't.

Absolutely it could. Four commercial planes were hijacked and flow into two skyscrapers, a field In PA AND the pentagon. See the Oklahoma city bombing. If crazy wants something bad enough, its tough to stop crazy.

I'm not sure where you're going to go with this, but it definitely could.

If the country with the most weapons in the world can't stop this it's pointless for posters to act as if we're any safer than those people in France because we possess weapons when terrorists decide to act.

My original point was pointing out.... the head of the snake lives in Rocca, Syria and parts of Iraq. If you continue to allow a safe haven to build wealth, accumulate fighters ect ect it just makes it easier to build out their network to kill innocent people.

Surely you didn't think I wanted to attack France?

France and the open boarders is why they are in this mess. Their praised for taking in 1000's of refugees and now being blamed for not doing a better job of fitting them into their society.

The lack of common sense in the world is astonishing.

My point was to show that you can't just "declare war on ISIS."

So let's get to your point. How do we stop ISIS from setting up shop in Syria?

If the country with the most weapons in the world can't stop this it's pointless for posters to act as if we're any safer than those people in France because we possess weapons when terrorists decide to act.

And it's equally as absurd to think that if we pass knee jerk legislation to ban or further restrict certain types of guns that we will be any safer.

And where do we start this war? How do we go about it in another country especially one that is an ally?

Did I say we do it in France?

Where do they come from?

Clyde let me leave you with this - 90156.JPG

That is a small child. There should be no debate about who or what caused this or what WE NEED TO DO, but sadly there is.

We have politicians in this country that want to import this here......and they are probably going to win.

Well, it certainly isn't making us any safer bringing thousands of unknown subjects to the US now is it? Is that really a wise idea today?

Is it also a wise idea to take away our weapons, our ability to fight these unknown animals? What if you and your family, are at a restaurant sitting next to my family and one of these animals stands up ready to commit an evil act, do you really want to take away my ability to fight him?

Did I say we do it in France?

You and others have told me that ISIS is bad. I don't think any will argue that.

What you and others have not said is how we the US of A should solve this problem. That's what I'm asking.

100%. The problem is liberals aren't to the point where they realize we need protection in this day and age. They don't want to accept that scary reality. They still want it to be like the 70s, 80s and 90s. Yes, back then I didn't need to have a weapon at dinner, but we're living in a different world.

Islamic Extremist.

That's the answer you wanted.

It starts here by kicking anyone out of any part of government that has had ANY ties with the Brotherhood.

Thank you, this is a much better answer than the one you have last night, as that one appeared to blame an entire religion.

A terrorists doesn't care what religion anyone is from, if one does not see things exactly as they do then they will go after that person regardless of religion.

Maybe I missed it, but was there a thread on here a couple of weeks ago when terrorists killed over 250 people in Baghdad? If there want a threat, they why not? Don't non-Christians killed count? As Muslims are killed by the terrorists at a much higher rate than non-Muslims. The lack of attention to such tragic events which caused the list of over 250 in Baghdad only fuels the flames and shows a lot of good people that the world doesn't care about them.

Yes we need to really vet anyone, but the entire refugee crisis is the fault of the west, and the rest of the world! As the world has sat back for over 5 1/2 years and done nothing to help these people, especially in Syria, and after a couple of years of not getting any help these people decided to flee for safety.

Where do these people go? They need help! Heck, then we have Turkey who many times start shooting at the Syrians trying to flee the war, including the woman and children.

The worse thing that the world has done is to ignore these cries for help! Almost all of the refugees do not want to leave home, it's survival that they are looking for, and they would love for the war to stop today so that they can go back to rebuild tomorrow. BUT, look at photos of a city like Homs Syria, Even if the war ended today it will take at least a decade to rebuild, I'd say maybe two decades.

I don't like all of the anti Oboma garbage, but the one thing that sticks out of him that I don't like is when he drew the line in the sand and dared Assad to cross it. Assad did cross it, and the world did nothing. That would have been the times to act, even Russia is dropping chemicals weapons on innocent Syrians now.

Anyone who believes in a God should see that God can't be happy at the world today, so much hate, so many people being hurt, and so many people allowing people to be hurt.

A serious question, the Orlando and San Bernardino shooters were U.S. citizens correct? Also, the young man from Cincinnati who they caught I know was a U.S. citizen, he was white as well, he attented Oak Hills HS in Cincy. But, he was the type of person that the terrorists target to do their destruction, thankfully this guy was caught before he acted.

The war on the terrorist is in fact working, they have lost thousands of lives the past year, this is why they are going out around the world right now and why they are begging for people around the world to be lone wolfs.

We are going to need everyone from all religions to get together to help, we need to show non-Christians around the world that we will fight with them, and that we won't leave them hanging, like the west and NATO did to Ukraine. If we all don't work together it will never work.

One thing that we can start doing is to play hardball, and I mean with countries such as Turkey! We should hold them accountable for any crimes against people who are fleeing. We should work with countries like Turkey to erect suitable camps, with a heck of a lot of protection to even get near the camps, show the people that they are safe!

CBDV, outside of the first sentence or so this was a general post and was not directed at anyone in particular.

I feel like you're making a pro-gun argument here and I know that's not your intent.

But the pro-gun argument has always been, "bad people are going to find a way to do bad things, so why take good people's guns away". I know that's not what you meant, but that's exactly how this post reads to me.

I like your answer.

Other Muslim Nations should take in the refugees. If they are good citizens there and vetted, we can take them.

I don't want innocent Muslim women and children dying, but I do not want what that picture represents happening here either.

He just did. When people start getting scared of reality, truth sets in.

And where do we start this war? How do we go about it in another country especially one that is an ally?

If they have them in their country and are going nothing to stop it, would they really be an ally?
