July 14, 201610 yr I will not post the link but all you have to do is do a search for Nice, France attack video and you will see it. It is terrible. So sad and evil. I keep asking myself, what is this world coming to?
July 15, 201610 yr How many innocent citizens have to die before someone goes in wipes ISIS off the face of the earth? If we used overwhelming fire power how many lives would we lose if we went in and ended their safe haven? Adding up the civilian deaths over the last year and what appears to be a trend as we move forward, how many is to many before we truly use our forces to destroy these savages?

There's a reason why we dropped bombs on Japan. What scares me in this is how many EU countries and the US are still taking people in from these counties. Being politically correct is like giving people hope. Hope will get you killed. 70+ people learned that in France today.
July 15, 201610 yr It doesn't take a gun now does it? It just takes evil. Not so fast. In any case, a terribly sad event.
July 15, 201610 yr ISIS strikes again, this time killing at least 80 people celebrating Bastille holiday in Nice, France. I viewed some of the footage online and it made me sick. Prayers.
July 15, 201610 yr The reports just keep getting worse and worse. Now saying at least 60 dead...my guess is the count will get much higher. Sheppard Smith on Fox said they have video he just saw but it is so bad, they cannot show it...bodies everywhere... Yes, I saw the video, it's horrific! :(
July 15, 201610 yr Guns weren't the guns of choice, this time a box truck was used to run over people.

I just don't see an end to this at the rate we are going.

I just don't see an end to this at the rate we are going. Let's say we know they're in France. Are you saying we declare war on France and send in troops?

I just don't see an end to this at the rate we are going. How do you go into those places and identify who is and isn't ISIS to fight them? This is not a group of uniformed soldiers. At any time they can just decide to walk away and blend in with the rest of the populace. Same problem we had identifying the Viet Cong in Vietnam. If we could draw them out in force to fight it would be different. Edited July 15, 201610 yr by AverageJoesGym
July 15, 201610 yr There's a few 1000 in Syria and Iraq right now. When I say "there" I'm talking Syria and Iraq. We had all the rats in one corner, now they've spread across all the middle east. France has a massive problem on their hands.

If we could draw them out in force to fight it would be different. That is the biggest problem...They were dying by the thousands trying to attack our soldiers. Once most of the soldiers pulled out they have shifted focus to soft targets and civilians. I don't have a great answer either...you have to be able to identify them and that seems like it would be easier for our middle eastern partners to do. It just seems it's not really in the heart of the moderate countries to do so.
