July 14, 201610 yr Went back to the park tonight to play 9 holes of disc golf. Apparently there is a Pokestop in the fairway (I guess that's what it's called) of the 17th. Capture your creature and exit stage left, luckily this impatient person was patient as they stood there for 2 minutes while I stood on the tee box.
July 14, 201610 yr Tonight at work, I saw no fewer than 200 folks playing this in the downtown/riverfront area. As silly as I find the concept, I was glad to see so many folks from different walks of life laughing and running around. Several of these gamers, didn't seem to have had much excercise/strenuous movements in quite some time. So if it gets people out moving and enjoying the city, I'm all for it.

July 14, 201610 yr How do these Pokemon show up at the various sites? Does someone playing the game put them there? Heard retail outlets are somehow getting them to pop up near them. How convenient. Now you catch the Pokemon and can sit down and have a cup of coffee afterwards. This thing is real folks. Went out to dinner last night and the couples 2 college age kids were going out in search of them last night.
