A play that keeps coming to mind - Curry has Love on him at the top of the key, crossover, crossover, step back, all the tricks, but he cannot shake him for an open three. That was with under a minute left. He probably should have just drove and taken the 2 once he seen that Love was not going to fall for anything that let him have a good 3. Great defense.

June 20, 201610 yr Lue coached a very good game tonight. I questioned him sitting Love and Thompson for so long in the second quarter but he said he didn't want either of them to get a third foul in the first half. Turned out to be a smart move. I wondered why Shumpert played so many minutes but he dogged Curry all night and Curry had a tough night. Another good move by Lue. Matchups and play calls out of timeouts the last 6 minutes of the game were all very good.

James and Irving was unreal, especially the last three of the finals. Tonight is the most I've been entertained and on the edge of my seat watching the NBA for a long time. June 20, 201610 yr Initial thoughts: -LeBron was great in game 7. Not transcendent like in 5 and 6, but still great. Perhaps the greatest individual finals series ever by him. -Kyrie is a top 10 player. Phenomenal -Still don't like KLove but he was good tonight -Tristan Thompson had a great series For GS -Bad final 6 minutes for Curry. Truth be told, rather pedestrian finals once again. Injury likely played a part, one would think -Klay Thompson ran his mouth all post season and came up small in game 7. Not a good look. -Draymond was good in the first half. -Harrison Barnes is awful -When it comes down to it, the last six minutes I think Golden State finally felt the pressure of what a win would accomplish and a loss would do for the perception of their season. They are a young team experience wise, and did not face that kind of pressure last year.
