June 20, 201610 yr The Finals MVP is awarded the Bill Russell Trophy. Gotta put a face to the name for all the young bloods. I thought that might be the case. Was he supposed to hand that trophy to LeBron? Did someone mess up there?

June 21, 201610 yr There are no bandwagon fans like LeBron fans. Nice attempt at a joke though. Steph was not good. He's going to have a problem shaking this. I think the pressure of competing with LeBron (as best player on their respective teams) wore him down over the 7 games. Agree 100% on the Curry blocks. Nothing impressive about those (and every other block he gets like that). This block was not those. But they get in Curry's head. He and LeBron were playing for unofficial "Best Player in NBA" and when LeBron does one of those monster blocks he makes Curry look like a little boy. Curry doesn't like that. It got to him. Probably contributed to him trying so hard and fouling out. Okay, I haven't heard anybody say anything about this and it's bugging me so I need to know. Why was Bill Russell hanging around during the trophy presentations? Already answered but since I his the check mark I'll repeat... the NBA finals MVP award is named for Bill Russell. BTW, there is a strong argument to be made that he is the GOAT. I love to listen to his interviews. Fascinating man. Stood up to racism much like Ali. No nonsense. Love how he handled himself.
