Like always, Cingrani comes in with a two run lead and walks the first batter and then a HR on a hanging curve ball. Don't get beat on your best pitch. Who is calling the pitches?????

Not entirely true, but yes the pen sucks.

Good grief....this might be the worst bullpen in MLB history.....you might find one with a higher ERA, less saves, higher BA against.....but the amt of runs given up, and the leads they have given up makes them the worst.

@ANDREwSimonMLB May 16

2016 Reds bullpen: 107 runs (98 ER) through 38 games.

2012 Reds bullpen: 144 runs (128 ER) all season.

Just an unbelievable stat. That was from a few games about so add about 10 more. :lol2:

Don't forget Suarez's 2 errors that lead to 2 runs. He's been decent and is learning the position, but those were back breakers. Team not good enough to give away outs.

Add Barnhart not being able to throw a ball from home to second to get a base stealer without 3 hops.

So what? Barnhart, and especially his defense, are one of the few good things the Reds have going this season. There's plenty else to complain about that actually has merit.

Would have been the third out of the inning, instead it kept the inning alive for more runs to score.

Barnhart has been above average in throwing runners out so I'm not sure what you are complaining about.

It's a difficult thing to do and that's why you can never assume throwing out a runner. Evidenced by the fact that a catcher could throw the ball into CF every time and as long as the runner doesn't get 3rd base, the catcher won't be charged with an error.

Just pointing out reasons the Reds lost last night.

I'm giving him a pass this year on D. Not an easy learning curve.
