Vote against Rand was the only thing on our ballot.

For the first time in my adult life I'm choosing not to vote. I've maintained my D status because I have had a few times that I've needed to interact with people in Frankfort and it helped open doors. When the Dems lose the statehouse I'll change.

 

I really have no interest in making a meaningless vote for candidates that I don't like. I despise both Hillary and Bernie. I loathe John Yarmuth so I'm not voting.

An actually pretty interesting one if you live in the Louisville Highlands and are a member of the Democratic Party.

 

Presidential primary, United States Senator primary, Metro Council District 8 up for grabs for the first time ever. Tom Owen has represented the area both on Metro Council and before that, the Louisville Board of Alderman, since 1990. Retiring this year. 8-way race for the Democratic nomination to fill his seat (and the Democrat will win District 8 handily come November). Even a judicial primary in Family Court today.

I went only because the Henderson City Commissioners primary was on there. I keep meaning to change my registration from Democrat to anything else but keep forgetting. Makes me throw up in my mouth when they ask Dem or Rep.

 

Uncommitted received at least one vote in the Presidential primary.

Who is leading in the Democratic polls in Kentucky, Clinton or Sanders?

 

Last real poll was done back in March. Had Clinton ahead by five. Doesn't really mean much now. Five Thirty Eight refused to even speculate on the race because the polling has been so spotty.

I voted in the "caucus" but didn't go to the polls today. Will again in November.

The missus and I cast our votes as always. Didn't have to show ID.

Only two races to vote for, but I voted anyway. I was literally the only voter there.

I was in and out of the polling place in less than 5 minutes...didn't show ID because I happen to know everyone working at my poll this year. 1st time in 4 or 5 elections that I've not had to show ID.

 

Only 3 elections to vote for today for me...Senate, Congress and State Representative.

I am always a bit amazed at some of the people that choose to run for office - totally unqualified with no chance. Why waste time and embarrass yourself like that?

Sometimes it just happens, I came in second for Constable about 8 years ago and didnt even run, lol.

Is it still legal to sell your vote in KY? car payment is due and I just sold blood last weekend.

Considering your support for Trump it doesn't surprise me that you would vote against the closest thing to a Libertarian in the Republican party.

Son has been feeling the Bern and was pretty mad when he got a letter from ALG saying he switched parties too late (March) to vote as a Democrat today. But via social media the word got that you still could vote as a Democrat even if you got that letter.

 

So he did and just told them he was a Dem. I am sure there was Bernie vote there.

 

I thought they had your party listed in 'the book'. But seems not.

 

So if the youngsters who were late to the party or late to switching parties got the word today I would expect a good bump for the Bern.

 

Also, it was his first time voting. Like Bermie or not, he has stirred up the young voters.
