May 12, 201610 yr The primary is fast approaching and it got me thinking, will Rs show up to vote on that day or do most think they've already voted in a primary when they cast their vote for who they wanted as a Presidential nominee? Do most people know there are still R races on the ballot next week? Rand Paul is running against 2 other Rs - Steven Slaughter and James Gould. Could Rand's deed of separating the Presidential primary from the May elections come back to haunt him next week while seeking re-election?

May 14, 201610 yr Got a phone call from Rand today, though I can't say I personally talked to him. I guess he wanted me to know that there was a reason to go to the polls on Tuesday.
May 15, 201610 yr Serious question, how do these people get our cell phone numbers? I spoke to one today from Bernie's camp that called me on my cell phone, knew my address and polling place. I get them knowing my address and polling place, but I've never given any of them my cell phone number and even if I had, it's changed since the last time I voted. I pulled a Seinfeld line and told them I was eating dinner and asked for their number so I could call them back. Obviously they wouldn't give me their number, even though they knew mine.

May 17, 201610 yr Voted around 9am and was told I was just the 5th democrat to vote today. Gotta love northwestern Boone County. LOL Immediately after I signed in, 2 more people walked in behind me. The poll worker joked that all you Democrats look alike. It was actually pretty funny… all 3 of us WERE about the same height, professionally dressed blondes (hotties of course LOL).
May 17, 201610 yr When I voted about 7:30am this morning, the parking lot was more crowded than expected. A lot of Millennials in the Democratic line (feeling the Bern, maybe)? I was thrilled to see that this location was test driving a real voting machine! Pretty easy to use, although the mechanics were interesting. It resembled trying to toggle over to and select a movie on my cable box.
