Featured Replies

Yes, though I am probably as inactive a user as you will find, post very rarely but will look at pics some friends post every now and then. Made a post last Monday thanking all the birthday well wishers who posted on my page.

I was just wondering why you haven't friended me. :p

Have had some conversations in the office, and sounds like more and more people are actually closing their Facebook accounts (older people sounds like, maybe 40+ age range). Sounds like a backlash against social media and all the stuff, which a lot of can be negative, that comes with it. Anyone seeing this?

This 40+ guy doesn't partake of Facebook and has absolutely no desire to take it up. All I need is BGP.

Never had a facebook account. Does that make me weird or genius?

sane.

I'm with you.

That's what I'm talking about!

By my eyes Facebook is going strong with no signs of slowing down. It's a diary/photo album/soundboard/yard sale/advertising space/cookbook/journal. I don't use Facebook like I used to but I still check it out from time to time. I may make a post every so often depending on my mood. I've unfollowed a ton of people to make my newsfeed pleasant. I see more and more people doing that these days than actually doing away with Facebook.

It's a great way to stay connected with customers if you are a small business.

On the personal side I think it is a great way to share pics with family and friends. Or stalk just about any individual you want. That is really the only thing I don't like. When I get a random notification that someone liked a photo I posted 2 yrs ago. Ughhh can you say stalker

I don't post on it nearly as much as I used to, but don't see myself ever really shutting it down.

I love seeing 'updates' from friends. Can not stand the viral videos, the shared posts or any advertisement. Problem is, most posts are not 'updates' anymore. It's the other crap.

If I am your friend on FB I will apologize in advance. My wife posts a new picture of my kid literally everyday. Other than being tagged in those I can't think of the last time I posted on FB. I open it and look through the pictures and that's about it. I don't think FB has reached it's peak yet.

If you share a post about liking a picture and this kid gets a new heart or something, you automatically get unfollowed.

Facebook has become extremely annoying for those of us who have been around since its inception. I still browse every day and post occasionally, but Facebook is #3 on my list of Social Media.

I still use myspace

Do you still churn your own butter as well?

What's a Facebook?
