CCH really missed Heppler in this one. He was the difference in the first game. Had no matchup for Weyer. Had to put Cole on him and I truly believe it wore him down. His shot was very flat the last couple shots he took. NCC more physical in this game and that happens when you have Seniors versus Sophomores. Congrats NCC you deserved the victory!

FINALLY!!!!!!!!! Congrats Mr. Dawn and all the players, their families, and everyone that helped them get there! Awesome!

You can say CVH v Weyer was a wash. The difference in the game was B Hall. Kid is smooth. CCH had no second option. Ballgame.

While it wasn't a thing of beauty from a quality of play perspective watching the boys battle and scrap was fun. 100% clean. No jaw-jacking. No stare downs. Clean hard play.

CVH v Weyer was really fun to watch. Give CVH full credit for making Weyer work in the post. 6'7 vs 6'1 is tough but CVH battled and it didn't impact his offensive game.

Give Coach Dawn credit as well for realizing they had no way of stopping CVH in a M2M D. Switched to a 2-3 which essentially ended the CCH comeback.

Two warriors (yes, it's cliche) going at it tonight. Really fun to watch.

I got NCC in 2032 !!!

I would have to agree.

AND , yes, congrats to NCC. Monkey is off the back. It was fun seeing the excitement of the staff. Jimmy must have jumped on the back of every NCC coach and player. Good for him.

Glad for Ben Weyer as well. Didn't come out once. Got banged on the entire game and was tired early yet he battled.

Took my 7 year old son. While it was only my second Ncc game in two years his grandpas have taken him to a few. He's a big Weyer fan and told me all about him. I wasn't disappointed. I also wasn't disappointed by CovCath, namely #3. He is so fast off the dribble I thought Covacath would've made more plays a clear out for him. No one was guarding him one on one. While CovCath did miss enough open shot NewCath was turning the ball over like they were an elementary team. What a great game with a great great atmosphere. The Crazies were as advertised and had mysaelf and my son looking at them as much as the game, exactly what highschool games are all about. Good luck downstate Breds.

Great game. I agree 100%. Weyer was the man but Hall was the difference maker.

How many second chance points/opportunities did CC have? Dominated on offensive boards. Great hustle by both teams all night. I told my son they were both going to run out of juice by the end of the first quarter, both teams amped up 110%. He looked at me and said "yeah that's cause your old". Lmao kids say the darndest things.

The state tournament will not be the same without CovCath

Weyer at least had 11 blocks that I counted..

Congrats to the Breds, happy for them after some tuff losses at BB&T. What a nice crowd. Also happy for the Lawnboy who has done a great job reporting from the arena. Best of luck at State.

Congratulations to the Breds!

Fantastic display of TEAM effort.

I am thrilled for their success. It's magical to see a team grow throughout the year and really hit their stride at the right time. Looking forward to them shining at Rupp and representing the 9th with class.

Real happy for Lawnboy13 as there's no more deserving fan. He's been there with them every step of the way so it's only fitting that he gets to witness his Breds play in the Greatest Show In Hoops. Looks like his Birthday celebration has been extended with tonight's victory, and I can only imagine that for him it must really taste sweet.

Got a real kick out of seeing Assistant Coach Pangallo jump up into Coach Dawn's arms. What a hoot as it was touching. I sure hope that someone snapped a picture of that.

What a great program and a great bunch of guys, I couldn't be more happy for them. This is no fluke as they showed tonight that they are completely deserving of what they've worked so hard to earn.

Go Breds! - Show the State of Kentucky what it means to be a team of class and go shine at Rupp as you represent the 9th Region!

Wait til you see Weyer....kid has range and gets it done around the basket. Long arms allow him to alter or block anything in his vicinity.
