February 29, 201610 yr Minnesota Suspends Three Players After One Tweets Sex Tapes Before yesterday’s loss to Illinois, Minnesota announced that three Gophers players would be suspended for the game for an unspecified violation of team rules. As always, you have to go to the message boards for the details. Leading scorer Nate Mason and freshmen Kevin Dorsey and Dupree McBrayer (pictured above) were benched for the game, with no immediate word on the length of their suspension—or the reason. In a brief statement, Gophers head coach Richard Pitino said: “With the privilege of being a member of the University of Minnesota basketball program there are expectations and standards to which we hold our student-athletes accountable, and they have failed to do so.” On Friday evening, Dorsey posted two videos to his Twitter account. They were deleted within 30 minutes, and Dorsey deleted his account soon after. The posters at the GopherHole.com message boards are on it.
February 29, 201610 yr Didn't Richard have to let another player go about a month ago? No wonder the team is so bad......bad actors.
February 29, 201610 yr Does Ruthatz coach the team? Once again kids, follow the rules and don't post dumb things if you do.
February 29, 201610 yr Yikes. In this case, glad to hear lil Rick own up to it (in the program and not personally) and provide some discipline. Wish his daddy would do the same at city college.
February 29, 201610 yr Maybe the MN players should be more concerned about watching opposing teams game video than tweeting out sex videos. THEN they might be better than 8-20 overall and 2-14 in Big Ten play.
February 29, 201610 yr Author My guess is a disgruntled girl found something in the phone she didn't like and decided to tweet it on his behalf. Edited February 29, 201610 yr by HammerTime
February 29, 201610 yr So this is Richard's fault that college kids are having sex and video taping it? Then sharing on social media.... How can any coach prevent this from happening.
