Jeb Bush bows out

After a disappointing 4th place finish in S.C. Jeb Bush drops his bid for President.

Jeb had no choice. Good man and probably a very qualified candidate. He simply picked the wrong year to be a candidate. Just a strange year and Trump just blew up the whole primary season with Jeb being the biggest casualty of Trump. He started slow (with Trump being a main reason), seemed weak at first and just never recovered...

His name is still a liability. I think his campaign thought that pulling W out would help, but I think it hurt.

Does his money go to Rubio?

I think his votes split. If he has 8 %. 2 to Cruz, 2 to Kasich, 3 to Rubio, 1 to Trump

Who will Donald make fun of now?!

Jeb Bush.

Surprising to me. I thought he might hang until Florida. But, he probably saw that as likely the ultimate embarrassment when he would have lost his own state.

I see Kasich and Rubio benefitting more and Cruz/Trump very little.

I don't see Kasich every getting any momentum other than plodding along at the back of the line each primary and caucus. I doubt many Jeb voters swing his way, the only ones he'll pick up are a few hard core Jeb voters mad at Rubio/Cruz/Trump for their attacks on him.

I think for better or worse Rubio picks up most of the Jeb votes and will start to close the gap with Trump.

CNN saying right now that hardly any scenario that Trump is not the nominee. Showed it on a map and made alot of sense. Ill bet that hurt them to say Trump was gonna win.

Trump is about to be the next President of the United States... God help us all

CNN has been pumping Trump up pretty hard the last few weeks.

They probably believe that he may be the only one that Clinton can beat in Nov.

I think Bush realizes that him getting out will help someone else possibly beat the Donald.

I'm having a hard time believing this made a difference one way or another.
