I would rather see a marching band be given a chance to really show its stuff. These halftime shows have a long history of sucking. If I wanted to watch some musician lip sync in a ridiculously produced short segment of crap I could......well, the point is I don't want to watch that. Bring on the band for the next fifty years!

Since I knew who was involved with the halftime show, I watched the replay of the Flyers/Capitals until the second half started. Sounds like I made the right choice.

I liked it a lot. Beyonce...Nuff said.

I know of quite a few police officers who didn't watch. I thought it was terrible, Bruno prevented it from being a complete disaster.

I like Coldplay, but thought the start was shaky. But I thought the ending was strong when the three artists came together.

You have every right to hate her for what she believes in. I can't tell you what to do or how to think about someone. But if I may ask, does that mean that you can't enjoy one of here shows or songs?

 

I disagree with Beyonce on probably 95% of what she says, where she donates her money, and the political ideologies she supports. But boy, can she perform. I have to give credit where its due, even if she and I disagree on some political issues.

OK. Beyoncé is still hot. Her music is meh at the best. Coldplay? child please. Bruno was tolerable. I think they should have been able to come up with some better entertainment than that.

I really, really don't understand why people absolutely hate Coldplay so much. I get their music may not be your thing, but DANG!

 

As for the shoe, loved all of it. Maybe Im a musical cretin, but I like all three of the artists, and I thought that it was a good show, with elements to appeal to a broad number of people.

Loved it. Coldplay style fits a stadium environment.
