I totally get that bro, but I just know that the whole "Coldplay Sucks" thing has taken on a trendy life all its own that is rooted in some sort of stupid sophomoric tough guy thing that has been made all too clear with them being the half time entertainment of a big time football game, and the commentary regarding it. I'm not nearly as shallow regarding music and tastes as you might think, and certainly a blanket statement can't be made regarding all the reasons why various people might not like Coldplay, but I'm specifically addressing the whole machoism thing regarding it that is pretty plain to see. Certainly not everyone who dislikes Coldplay falls into this category, so if this doesn't describe you, don't worry about it.

I thought that that segment in the "40 Year Old Virgin" was a hoot, and some gay jokes crack me up as long as their not rooted in complete ignorance. I'm not as touchy about gay references as one might think. I've stood my ground in more serious topics in the past, but at the end of the day I like to laugh with the best of them.

February 10, 201610 yr I liked the halftime show OK...but I wouldn't buy tickets just to see it. As a matter of fact, I dvr'd it and watched it later after seeing this thread. I don't have an aversion to Cold Play however and actually like some of there stuff.
