Cordia 62 Murray 45 (All "A" State Finals)

Featured Replies

Maybe it's just me but I think the State All A Trophy is 100% better than the Sweet 16 Trophy. Doesn't look like a generic cookie cutter trophy.

Saw pictures and I 110% agree....The Sweet 16 Trophy looks generic compared to the All A one.

I bet you did.

I did ..... I worked for a company and Buster Patterson would show up once a month...they'd cut a "petty cash" check for $6000 cash it .....and hand Buster the money ....we had another UK player whose dad worked there but he actually showed up and worked.....Buster just showed up and got his cash under the table

I don't really care if you believe me

...Buster and his wife moved to Union KY for Patrick's UK years ....

I saw the whole thing.....everyone in the company knew about it....

Just remember...IP addresses are a powerful tool :thumb:

Neufdaddy... This is funny... Keep the hits coming.

Cordia went way beyond the rules with what they did. Schools, private and public, have learned how to "use the transfer rules". But what cordia did flew in the face of the khsaa.

I have no problem with the all a allowing them to play. This isn't a "khsaa" tournament. No different than the Maui invitational allowing a school like smu or another school banned from post season play from playing.

I'm NOT a Kentucky fan.....I watched Patrick Patterson's parents get paid the whole time he was at UK ....

Saw it how? Serious question.

Saw it how? Serious question.

Nevermind, I read your schpeel.

Saw it how? Serious question.

Please see Post #62. Neufdaddy jumped the shark

I know it's libel.....if I'm deliberately spreading lies about someone's character

I know the guy who cashed the checks

I know the woman who cut the checks and joked every month about "how do I code this one for IRS purposes"

Come sue me if I'm lying

Sorry to get off topic .... but someone asked me if I like UK.... which started this while thread

Never said or inferred any of that.

Cordia broke the rules and were punished...no reason to continue to hate on them.

No one will ever admit why there is so much hate on Cordia and many many others move kids in and out every year and everyone is fine with it. When schools have kids with the money and means to commute playing that live in different cities, counties or even states...Why throw rocks at Cordia for having housing for poor kids?

Congrats Cordia!

They are still breaking the same rules they were punished for!!!

They are NOT a boarding school!!!

I am not a fan of what seems to be going on at Cordia (and I readily confess that I don't know many details of what is or isn't going on). But the All A Committee had the ability to say that Cordia could not play in the tournament, and the All A Committee chose not to impose such a rule. It was their call, and they chose to allow Cordia to play. That being the case, it is hard for me to get too worked up about a team playing in (and winning) a tournament in which they were invited to participate. Congratulations to Cordia.

Wait...I'm lost.

They are still breaking the same rules they were punished for!!!

They are NOT a boarding school!!!

Are they still breaking the rules?

They had dorms for boys and girls all the way back in the 50's...but do they have dorms now?

They are still breaking the same rules they were punished for!!!

They are NOT a boarding school!!!

Don't they house kids on their campus for schooling?
