1. Fish IS meat. None of that stuff. If were talking meatless we are talking about rabbit food. Ain't no rabbit I've ever known ate a fish.

2. My ancestors didn't climb to the top of the food chain for me to waste it eating salads.

3. I'm not sure I could go a day, for real. I RARELY have a meatless meal. I'd say 10 or under a year.

Monte Python would disagree.

RUN AWAY...RUN AWAY!!!!

That Python guy was pretty funny

RUN AWAY...RUN AWAY!!!!

I should have put that movie on my Christmas list...making a note to include it next year.

Probably no more than 2 meals in a row, maybe if the circumstances were right I could last a whole day. It'd probably be bad for me if I lowered my protein intake.

Word.

I wouldn't go without meat. Would not do it.

I can go without red meat as it is mainly a reward type meal for me now....nothing like a good double-bacon-cheeseburger. Also love a good steak from time to time. However, I think if I ate red meat every meal or even everyday, I would gain a lot of weight. I could not take out red meat then take out fish and fowl. However, I could eat seafood every day. Also, I love veggies and salads. BTW, although I don't follow any "named" diet, when I want to get serious about getting lean, I eat a much vegetable matter as I can get along with a reasonable amount of protein, but I have to leave out the breads and sugar.

One of my all-time favorites.

Detective Rosewood: Wow. You know, it says here that by the time the average American is fifty, he's got five pounds of undigested red meat in his bowels.

Sergeant Taggart: Why are you telling me this? What makes you think I have any interest in that at all?

Detective Rosewood: Well, you eat a lot of red meat.

In 2011, when I lost all that weight and kicked my gout into high gear, I actually went vegetarian for a few months.

I can handle some of the Morning Star Farms stuff; the sausage, the bbq faux ribs, the crumbles, chicken patties, and chicken nuggets. Those items are pretty good.

Boca Burgers aren't too bad, if you put enough hot sauce on them.

Tofurky products are disgusting, though.

Rat, I've tried to eat those things, except for tofurky. I just couldn't stomach it. The only meatless thing I could ever eat was the veggie burgers that the Red Light restaurant on 5th street in Covington used to make. Red Light is closed and I haven't found anything close to those great burgers.

So I guess I should have just given a number. Ok 42.

I'm with you on the seafood thing. I could eat fish/seafood every single day.
