January 4, 201610 yr The gun lobby's influence doesn't extend only to the pachyderms. Because history shows that when Democrats support gun control, they lose.....badly.
January 4, 201610 yr Author Please its a meme. If a picture is worth a thousand words...what is a meme worth?
January 4, 201610 yr Author How about an executive order to increase welfare fraud investigations. Lets start controling the freeloaders that I work 2 jobs to pay for. Is the second statement about Congress?
January 4, 201610 yr If a picture is worth a thousand words...what is a meme worth? Nothing. :idunno:
January 4, 201610 yr Would any of his proposals, if they had been in place the last few years, have stopped any of the mass shootings? At a press conference after the California shootings his press secretary admitted they would not have stopped the shootings. I believe these are feel good proposals, so his minions can say, "look he is trying to do something to stop these shootings". When what all these proposals are doing is slowly eroding everyone's Second Amendment Rights.

January 5, 201610 yr 1 would be enough. I did not ask how many. I asked would they have stopped any of the shootings.
January 5, 201610 yr 1 would be enough. Maybe be should start by disarming one gang banger in Chicago tonight, who has a 9mm in his waist band as I type this. Or he could fly over to the Middle East and take out the terrorist, who are currently training kids with AKs to kill Americans someday. Enforce the laws we currently have Obama, close the border, do you really think some lunatic or Islamic Terrorist is going to be stopped by more gun laws? His failed leadership is exactly why we all should be armed.
January 5, 201610 yr The efforts to 'brainwash people' (former attorney generals own words) and the efforts to impelement restrictive laws that have no bearing on the massive carnage that occurs mostly in minority neighborhoods have been continuous for years. What is the actual goal of the Holders, Surgermanns, and others? Its not really rational what they advocate and how strongly they advocate it. Something is driving the agenda.
January 5, 201610 yr Obama is the worst president ever.....even Carter was better.( I cant believe I said Carter was better). Never in the history of the United States has there been a worse divider of the people. Just look at whats happened while he has been there. That alone will speak for itself.
January 5, 201610 yr 1 would be enough. If saving 1 life is the threshold for our laws we need to outlaw a lot more than just a few guns. Cars don't need to be allowed to exceed the speed limit, we can start by controlling the speed on all cars. Imagine if we could just save 1 life because no car was allowed to exceed the speed limit. Maybe we should just out law Murder, after all if just 1 life is saved. While we are at it, let's repeal the 1st amendment...that way no one can draw cartoons or say anything that can inspire others to want to kill them. Yes, all life is precious. But we live in a world and a country with a lot of personal freedom and with that comes responsibility. I don't think you want to live in a country where every decision about what you can and can't do is decided by the state. When people violate that freedom or fail in their responsibility they should be held accountable in the strongest way imaginable. If every gun in America disappeared today, people would still murder and kill tomorrow.
January 5, 201610 yr Author These are adjustments to background checks many of you have supported in other threads. What's different now? Why are we jumping from closing loopholes to fearmongering of repealing the 2nd amendment when nothing this executive order will do is even close to that? What's the deal guys? Nobody's taking your guns unless you try to buy one and you are on the no-fly list or you are felon trying to illegally buy one. The blind haymakers being thrown is somewhat funny.
