Lloyd needs to drop about 25 students pronto... :D

They could always pick up about 100 guys and play the "big boys" every year. :D

Maybe you could pick up those boys living off of Garvey, about 2 miles from Lloyd, that are now being shipped off to Scott everyday. Maybe that'll get you there.

In all seriousness, it does seem like the Juggs district schedule would become travel-heavy.

Pass... :sssh:

So would NewCath's from what I see so far, unless I'm missing something. Not as bad as the Juggs' though.

I could see a four team district with Newport, Holy Cross and LCA...

Hopefully, sooner rather than later, the powers-that-be will have the good sense to move to the Super 20 concept.

Beechwood and Mayfield should move up to 2A because most likely they will have no competition at all besides for each other to win the State Championship...

If one of these teams move, the other will stay and have a cakewalk most years to the championship.

Six state football champions in Kentucky severely discounts the feat of winning a championship. I personally felt four champions in Kentucky was too many.

Which to me, might be the most bittersweet win in history.

True dat.;)

I have been told that the new Harlan Co. High School will not open until 2008.

Really, who knows? My source may be wrong!

Here's another article on this topic from the Ky Post. It's good reading, it doesn't seem that the 4A coaches in NKY want a change at all, and if so, would rather see a 5A solution than a 6A.

Most of the NKY coaching concerns in that article would be addressed with super classes.

I live in Boone County and I sure don't like it when I hear Boone County coaches complain because the Boone County school system keeps building new high schools (thus dividing their available talent) yet they continue to complain about the two evil Louisville schools...

I went thru your list and seems Gallatin Co. is not on it. This will be thier first year of varsity and according to the link they will be at 188 boys which would place them in Class A. Please correct if I missed them.
