KHSAA 6 Classes (Evenly divided)

Featured Replies

Two things stick out to me. One is that If this is how it breaks down, I think Dixie would have a good shot at finally winning a state championship. (barring no big 4A's move up). And 1A looks to be dominated by Mayfield, and Beechwood with no NCC, and Danville. I like the way this breaks down. Nice work Sandman. :thumb:

I am under the impression that they are not going to let teams move up in class. It is going to be play where you are type of thing.

Teams can play up...

I really think that the logical thing to do, would be to split up Male and Manual, us and St. Xavier...
I'd hate to see the Old Rivalry split up, because I question some people's commitment to the game's history. If we go with Super Class and Male doesn't play up, or Male and Manual don't end up in the same districts, then I think some involved would be just fine with playing the game in August and forget about history, or not even playing at all.

I don't want there to be an excuse for anyone who sees this game as 'Manual's Superbowl' and not really that important to their own season.

Class 6A - Jefferson County (3 - Districts)

1,390 St. Xavier Jefferson County

823 DuPont Manual Jefferson County

927 Pleasure Ridge Park Jefferson County

713 Butler Jefferson County

734 Male Jefferson County

772 Southern Jefferson County

881 Seneca Jefferson County

687 Fern Creek Jefferson County

1,440 Trinity (Louisville) Jefferson County

967 Eastern Jefferson County

793 Ballard Jefferson County

772 Shelby County Shelby County

I don't know about the rest of the state, but these districts look the best to me for Louisville. And believe me, I wasn't rigging the game- I want Manual and Male in the same district til the end of time.

St.x still has the toughest of districts there but that does give much more in the way of scheduling flexibility.

I wish this were true, but every senario I have heard has St. X. and trinity in the same district. :irked:

bummer

For two districts, I say:

1,390 St. Xavier Jefferson County

823 DuPont Manual Jefferson County

734 Male Jefferson County

713 Butler Jefferson County

772 Southern Jefferson County

1,440 Trinity (Louisville) Jefferson County

881 Seneca Jefferson County

793 Ballard Jefferson County

687 Fern Creek Jefferson County

967 Eastern Jefferson County

And put PRP with Meade and North Hardin, etc. They used to play in that district, you know.

That makes no sense in any way, when you look at Louisville and divide it up. THAT is rigging the game.

Yes, I think RIGGING is the appropriate term. :irked:

OK, not because I like it but because the wind blows that way, I'll draw one up with X and T together.

X and T together clearly signals two Louisville districts, IMO. If you have three districts, there's no excuse.

And I think it will be X moving into Trinity's district and not the other way around.

So...

Male

Manual

Butler

Seneca

Southern

X

Trinity

Ballard

Fern Creek

Eastern

With PRP with the Meade/Hardin district.

I wouldn't mind it being the other way around :D

Le Sigh.

Ballard

Fern Creek

Seneca

PRP in the boondocks.

That looks a triffle unbalanced to me... POOR BUTLER!:D

At least we won't get crap for having a weak district. :p
