December 1, 201510 yr An announcement that UK will be moving to the MAC or the OVC so that they could compete for a conference championship?
December 1, 201510 yr A bunch of big, strong, and hungry offensive and defensive lineman. That is the root of their problems. They get beat just about every single play in the trenches. Doesn't matter who the quarterback is or what plays the coordinator calls, if your lineman don't execute you won't be successful.
December 1, 201510 yr A realistic and patient fan base but I think that is asking for too much. Realistic expectations Couldn't have said it better.
December 1, 201510 yr He secretly wants a pink slip so he can take his $15.9 million buyout and go home. That has to be the worst/best contract negotiation of all time. More $ to buy out Stoops than it would have been to buy out Les Miles.
December 1, 201510 yr I would say an offensive line, that is the root of the problem. Next he needs a QB with Towles gone UK does not have a QB. After that you have to look at the D line that gets no pressure (in a 3-4 it's really your backers I get that) and a secondary that isn't slow and can cover. Basically he needs an over haul, and its not a system thing, these guys won't wake up as juniors and start competing.
December 1, 201510 yr Five linemen a-blocking and four receivers a-catching. ....Three line-backers tacklin', two runners runnin', and one kicker kicking!!
