Joker's 3 seasons went something like this

Stoops has done this:

Notice the trends going in opposite directions? That's why Stoops is still here after 3 seasons and why Joker got fired after 3 seasons. UK football has improved and will continue to improve. The coaching staff will grow and learn just as the players are. Patience folks, patience.

Please help me with the improvement trend from 2014 to 2015. Looks rather flat to me.

 

The 2015 win column includes a come from behind win over EKU that fired their coach after a disappointing season and a "free square" win over possibly the worst D1 team in the country.

 

There are 9 games that matter each year on the UK schedule. Stoops is 0-9, 2-7, and 2-7. A 17% win percentage. Blinders folks, blinders.

Joker was making no progress and he was taking the program in the wrong direction but his last season he lost to 7 ranked teams and WKU. The SOS was much much better.

 

Stoops would have been 2-10 also. This was the year to show they were improving instead they flatlined again. Next year's schedule will be tougher especially the opener with a So Miss team playing in the CUSA championship.

 

But we are stuck. Barnhart gave Stoops a big time deal without big time results.

A realistic and patient fan base but I think that is asking for too much.

Why? he has more talent that any coach has had here in years. Joker was fired in 3 years.

 

Joker took over a program that was winning bowl games and destroyed it. Stoops is having to rebuild from nothing.
