I guess now that Flynn's gone, Ashland moves to Number1 in the region!! Seriously, you Tomcat backers may miss him. He was knowledgable and a class act.

As for the question, I will say #1. Ashland #2. Russell #3. Elliot #4. Rose Hill (if they have everyone returning, not sure). Greenup co. could also be in the mix. I am just glad to had picked two class A schools in my top four.

Russell is clearly the team to beat. Elliott will find it tough to replace Weddington's physical play inside and rebounding. Lokk ou for Rose Hill. They have some youngsters that can play, bu they may need another season of experience.

I know that we haven't mentioned Rowan Co. They have ALOT coming back with Matt Daniel and Matt Martin. Rowan Co. could make some noise in the

16th region this season. Don Daniel does a great job year in and year out with the Vikings!

The Vikings do have the big Petit (sp) kid back and I have heard he has improved

Elliott Co. will have just as physical presences inside in Josh Greene. He dosent have near the athletic abilty as Weddington but he is a a good rebounder and very strong. As far as Russel goes, they added a very nice piece to thier team over the summer in Austin Robinson. He has improved alot since his Rose Hill days. Very good shooter.

Greene is strong, but not as polished as Weddington and he has a hard time staying out of foul trouble. Mays will wish he had developed a bench.

Austin Robinson. He was in the Ashland school system throughout his elementary school days, but went to Rose Hill during the whole OJ fiasco. I heard hes been all around, with a brief stop at Scott Co.

Who has Rose Hill beat this summer? Everyone is putting them in the 4 spot, but every game I have seen them play this summer they have gotten beat. Rose Hill will be a top 10 team this year, but I think they are still one year away from top 5. But they are playing without Jackson, which will be a big help when he comes back.

Wireman, Elliott will use more than 6. They will play 7 strong, and use 2 others for limited time. Like most previous they are guard heavy, but do have more big bodies this year.

8. 6'3 Sophmore Jonathon Morgan- Nice touch around the basket but extremly timid.

9- 6'2 Sophmore Dustin Gilliam- Still devolping but a huge body inside, weighs probabley 280 but very athletic for his size.

Thats what I thought. He seems like an average player, I dont think he will much of an impact.
