November 4, 201510 yr Stoops is not the leader we thought and expected Wasn't it PP92 who was pumped to see him leave Florida State? I can see why. Adversity has wilted the last two teams.
November 4, 201510 yr It wasn't going to happen anyway. Of course it wasn't. His accomplishments at UK are still at 0. Some solid moments and the recruiting has improved, but what has he accomplished as a head coach to warrant him coaching anywhere beyond his present job?
November 5, 201510 yr Wasn't it PP92 who was pumped to see him leave Florida State? I can see why. Adversity has wilted the last two teams. Yes. This is correct. I felt like the defense wasn't as good as the stats claimed them to be. I was not sad to see him go.
November 5, 201510 yr Stoops would not be a candidate at Miami of Ohio at this point. SEC was too big a jump for him. He should have been proven HC at CUSA or MAC first.
November 5, 201510 yr Not saying Stoops has proven anything or warrants any praise yet... But everyone think back to where this program was before he took over. We wouldn't be having the constant talk about him if he wasn't giving fans a sense of hope that this program could be great. Not saying he is the coach for the long run, but he has definitely improved the quality of this program.

The only way I see it happening is if Miami gets turned down by lots of folks because they can't pay too much. Then I could possibly see them calling him because of his past connections. But it will have to be quite a ways down the list before that happens.
