Sonny Crockett
I fished at a Norther Kentucky farm pond a couple of weeks ago and my wife spotted what looked to be tiny jellyfish near the banks. They were less than an inch from edge to edge but looked just like what you see at the aquariums. Moved the same too. What could they have been? dallaslaredo
yes, that was a freshwater jellyfish, they are in several KY lakes, rivers, and ponds and have been here for years. They are tiny. Came from China. In general you see them near the surface when the surface water is colder. Not poisonous to humans.

Are they being used for bait and then dumped in ponds/lakes or idiot folks just dumping hem from aquariums because they don't want them any longer?
