September 18, 201510 yr This could be a long list but I will keep it to the first two that comes to my mind. Couldn't stand Guns N Roses (Thought Axyl Rose was the worst singer in the history of music) Can't stand Rush
September 18, 201510 yr A few of mine have already been said. Never cared for Dave Mathews. Don't hate his music, but just have never had any interest in it. I can't get into Jethro Tull either. I don't care for the Police. Corporate country is a non-starter with me. Just can't do it. None of it. Pick a name. Billy Blacktop. They're all the same. I despise with every part of me Fall Out Boy, Panic at the Disco, and the three or four other acts that sound just the same.
September 18, 201510 yr Hip hop and Rock had their genesis out of the blues. I like this thread because we get to see what others dislike in music. I admit there's quite a bit of blaspheming but that's my opinion. One man's trash...
September 18, 201510 yr I will say that some of you all could use a night of spinning records in Habib's Tavern™. It might change your mind. :lol2: The Beatles? Springsteen? Pink Floyd? Turns out I'm a licensed therapist in treating those disorders.
September 18, 201510 yr Jimmy Buffett The Who David Bowie Neil Young Elton John (liked the earlier stuff) Meat Loaf Kiss Willie Nelson Uriah Heep
September 18, 201510 yr Elton John (liked the earlier stuff) First LP I ever purchased was EJ "Caribou." 70s stuff was really good. After that I simply wasn't interested in his output. Same with Hall&Oates.
September 18, 201510 yr Jimmy Buffett The Who David Bowie Neil Young Elton John (liked the earlier stuff) Meat Loaf Kiss Willie Nelson Uriah Heep Are you the antichrist? I'll give you Willie and the Heep but the others are fightin words!
September 18, 201510 yr First LP I ever purchased was EJ "Caribou." 70s stuff was really good. After that I simply wasn't interested in his output. Same with Hall&Oates. Hall and Oates is another one I can't stand. I really started my hatred of them when Daryl Hall Came out and said they were bigger than the Beatles ever were.
September 18, 201510 yr Rush Yes Dave Matthews Grateful Dead Michael Bolton Solid list. Especially the "no talent ...clown"
September 18, 201510 yr Gonna have to admit. I graduated in 1977. Up until age 35 or so I couldn't stand Led Zeppelin. Basically because of "Stairway To Heaven" overkill. However, I saw the error of my ways. There, that is off my chest. I feel much better...
September 18, 201510 yr U2 Fleetwood Mac AC/DC Rolling Stones KISS Just a few off the top of my head.
