FarBeyondDriven
And what will THAT cost the good citizens of Rowan County? You claim to be a card carrying Liberal. LRCW
News station said that even if the deputies agree to issue licenses Ms Davis will not be released. So is the plan to keep her incarcerated until the next election if she doesn't agree to abide by the court ruling?
LRCW
I think it will interesting to see if any of the same sex couples that have tried to get marriage licenses in Rowan County now try to go to the other two Counties where the clerks have vowed not to issue marriage licenses. That would go against everything they've said so far wouldn't it?
Science Friction
IMO, it's because a lot of people can't stand the fact that same sex couples are now being treated equally. Yeppers!
formerkywrestler
5 of 6 deputies have said they will issue licenses. If Kim Davis will permit this her contempt charge is purged.
formerkywrestler
Bluegrass Politics @BGPolitics 7m7 minutes ago Kim Davis will return to courtroom at 3:30 & tell judge if she's willing to let her deputies obey law over her objections. If not, jail. ^JC

formerkywrestler
I feel like the judge is REALLY trying to work with her here. She has an opportunity to not have to personally issue a license, keep her job, and stay out of jail.

Habib
She won't accept that as she still has to have her signature on them Then she needs to resign. Or stay in jail, I guess. Kim Davis is a martyr for idiocy, not religious freedom.
