btw, KHSAA has Rieherd's scores for football dating to 1998. I have Trinity scores to 1955.:popcorn:

 

Sad honestly that the state association doesn't have score documentation going back further than 1998 & then in the early years of said documentation its spotty @ best with basically just the playoffs.

 

Sports is about history & "the numbers" seems like the easiest of these to track is the win/loss totals of teams from the past.

As many people on this board has said...only thing that will hinder Trinity is complacency and/or injuries. Male and X are the 2 true teams left on their schedule that will truly test Trinity. Lafayette will put up a fight but I don't think they are in the same league as the Rocks. Good luck to both teams this Friday...pray for an injury free game.

Lafayette has 4 kids with D1 offers. They, like Bryan Station, are very athletic, but fairly undisciplined, and I would say a little soft. I think for a lot of the kids in Lexington, football is just something to do until basketball starts.

 

SK has played Lafayette recently and they had very little fan support for a home playoff game. Had a similiar experiance at Bryan Station a coupple of years earlier. They just seem to take their football seriously in Fayette County(Except LC of coarse).

The outpouring of fan support that you witnessed is the undying local support of Lexington athletics in general for many programs. If they aren't in the District Finals, Region Finals or State Finals there isn't a whole lot of support in between.

 

Its like UK football, they will be around until one of the SEC teams splits their head like a canoe then Commonwealth goes from being a Big Blue Nation to a deserted Smurf Village in just a few weeks, only its much worse @ the high school level across the board. In all my years in teaching & coaching, I have never seen such a lack of school spirit & support as I have in Lexington with the public high schools.

I have watched these players for 2 to 3 years at Lafayette. They are capable of putting up 35 points against any team in KY, including Trinity.

 

Not going to change my mind. With all of the money that Trinity has, shouldn't you have a dossier on every athlete at Lafayette?

Trinity has worn the same uniforms AT Least since 2011, must be nice to have all the the cash LL has, lol

And I heard that one of their more recent uniforms (the black ones?) were a misprint for another team and T was able to get them dirt cheap. Not sure if that's true or not, but I heard it from a couple of folks.

The thing about Mr. Reed is that probably half of his yards came after contact was made. He is a durable, hard runner...........and I don't believe he has fumbled yet.

Well the Lafayette qb is among the leaders in passing and rushing.... So maybe maybe he keeps it close...idk hopefully there is at least this much resistance from Lafayette or its going to be really bad
