August 8, 201511 yr 61 years old and I can't remember a Presidential Race where the candidates that were not incumbents said that the country was just awful and change was needed, along with hope, a Greater America, blah, blah blah. Absolutely no difference in the 45-50 years I can remember paying attention. 1968 was when I started noticing - a junior high-school mock election fueled my interest a bit. I do think that the rhetoric has gotten more shrill the past 4 or 5 election cycles.
August 8, 201511 yr Trump is the greatest thing to happen for these nominations. He's so entertained that more people tune in because they want to witness the side show. By drawing in these viewers, they actually get a chance to see real candidates and form opinions. I'd wager that there will be less people who watch the Democrat delay than this Republican one. He also isn't afraid to go against the grain and actually bring up some valid points. He needs to stick in as long as possible then get out of the way for the real candidate to win against the other side.

Prices are higher on just about everything. Obamacare has not made health insurance more affordable, it has done the exact opposite. More people on SNAP than ever in history. Do I really need to go on? Take off the rose colored glasses and look at things realistically. GW made his share of mistakes and I can admit that. Those of you on the Left need to quit toeing the party line and admit the same about Obama.
August 8, 201511 yr Trump made a joke about Kelly being on her period. I cringed when I heard that. Most classify him as entertaining comedic relief for this whole thing(I do), but think he is just one step/temper tantrum away from saying something really,really bad.
