August 7, 201511 yr People keep talking about him "telling it like it is." Well, what "is" means what's true, which certainly isn't a claim Trump can make. What he does is say whatever thoughts happen to pass through his brain at any given moment. He thought-broadcasts. Mr. Trump has no apparent ability to distinguish what one thinks from what one ought to say. It's a sign of being a sociopath and I don't want him speaking on my behalf to anyone of significance be they from around the world or here at home. I didn't see the debate. But, here's an interesting thing happening. Some people who HATE Christie, calling him aggressive and a blowhard, are somehow totally behind Trump. I don't get that AT ALL.
August 7, 201511 yr I think the Democrats will eventually bring Kerry and Gore back into the fold as candidates PleaseOhPleaseOhPlease let this happen. This is already halfway toward being one of the most hilarious presidential campaigns ever. Get those two and Joe Biden in there and, wow. Let the wackiness commence.

Let the wackiness commence. That would be must see TV. Instead of waiting until it was down to 2 candidates they should just do a giant all candidates from both sides debate. Can you imagine the clown show that would ensue? Donald Trump questioning Al Gore about the internet? Please make it happen :lol2:

August 7, 201511 yr Rubio? What about Cruz?! I guess I didn't notice his after I was stuck on Rubio's. Now I can look forward to the next debate.
August 7, 201511 yr I'm always , although I don't know why, surprised at how the candidates try to sell us on JUST HOW BAD the country sucks TODAY. It's becoming cliched. And I am surprised and amazed at how many people believe that to be true.
August 7, 201511 yr And I am surprised and amazed at how many people believe that to be true. The truth is always interesting.
August 8, 201511 yr Yep. The thought of him as POTUS scares the crap out of me much more so than any other candidate on either side of the aisle. He's probably the most despicable human-being that I've ever seen as a Presidential candidate. The fact that he has the support he does paints a sad sad picture for our society IMO. Hillary is just as despicable to me, if not more. If those two somehow end up with the two nominations...ugh...
August 8, 201511 yr It wasn't the amount of screen time. It was what he did with it that made me think he didn't do well. His best point was a jab at someone else for giving Obama a hug. I don't know, not a fan after last night. I agree, wasn't a fan before either, hopefully he will fade into the wood work soon
August 8, 201511 yr I'm gonna have to start knocking people over the head with a "THIS IS CLEARLY SARCASM" disclaimer. My subtle humor is a-wastin'.
August 8, 201511 yr The truth is always interesting. 61 years old and I can't remember a Presidential Race where the candidates that were not incumbents said that the country was just awful and change was needed, along with hope, a Greater America, blah, blah blah. Absolutely no difference in the 45-50 years I can remember paying attention.

Absolutely no difference in the 45-50 years I can remember paying attention. You're about 6 or 7 years younger than the average FOX news viewer. At the least, last night had to help the network in some small way with respect to the age demographic.
August 8, 201511 yr Hillary is just as despicable to me, if not more. If those two somehow end up with the two nominations...ugh... Come join the Gary Johnson team. I felt good about myself the last time for the first time ever in my presidential voting career.
August 8, 201511 yr Rush is making a big deal about Fox legitimizing the "war on women." And in his massive audience there are a lot of dittoheads who are eating it up. After all, this country went to hell in a handbasket once suffrage went through.
