Jared Lorenzen was ridiculously good in high school. Just crazy good.

Honorable Mention (in no order):

Melvin Miles

Agree on Jared. As for Melvin, I delivered a pizza to him in the spring after his senior season. I recognized him, which seemed to truly shock him, but we stood on the porch and talked football while the woman in the house kept yelling for him to bring in the pizza.

He played at Norwood High School in the late 70's. Then played at Miami University (Oxford) where he was a two-time All-American defensive tackle/nose guard. From 84-86 played for the Bengals, Bills and Calgary (CFL). After that hung up his cleats for wrestling shoes in the WCW and was best know as Flyn' Brian for signature leaps off the top rope of the ring. He passed away while in the WCW from an undetected heart condition that his father had passed away from years before.

I remember Pillman, Davey Boy Smith and Owen Hart working out at Supreme Fitness. When they left it looked like an F5 touched down. They are all gone.

Recall watching those guys' highlights on Friday night news. Best named brother tandem ever, and Hiwatha Francisco is my all-time favorite HS FB name.

Both very good players I believe D'Juan broke his brothers rushing records at Moeller.

I played softball against Hiawatha in the Metro about 10 years ago, he was catching for one of the better squads in the city, and he weighted AT LEAST 325 at the time. My man had completely let himself go. Still had the same big smile and huge personality...really good and funny dude.
