With all the news that's affecting everyone the past week or so, I have looked at each thread here for over a week and I see a lot of differing opinions which The Bible has been at the center of a division.

Here is my question to each of you? Do you believe the Bible and God? Now I am not talking about taking a verse here and a verse there as some have done in this forum, but do you believe it 100%. This is a yes or no answer. I am not interested in anything other than that. IF you want to discuss and hash out the points and exactly what you think, then create your own thread on it.

Simple question, lets not make it hard.

If it were only that simple.

Yes I do. I believe the Bible and I believe in Jesus and God.

Yes.

No, I believe The Bible would be more credible if Paul Bunyan, John Henry, and Pecos Bill were in it.

Yes.

Yes.

Do I believe the Bible word for word? No...

I do believe in a God.

I do not believe in a literal interpretation of the Bible.

Simple question, lets not make it hard.

When you say "Do you believe the Bible is true" I'm assuming that you are asking if we believe that it is the "inspired word of God"?

In your initial commentary you also asked if we believe in God and the Bible.

Considering that not all religions follow the Bible, but do believe in God, then one doesn't necessarily have to believe in the Bible to believe in God.

Sometimes someone could believe in a God but not be associated with a religion and still not believe that the Bible is the inspired word of God.

You aimed at not making it complicated, but what question actually are we answering?

You might think from where you are standing that it's a cut and dried question, but it's not.

I do not believe in a literal interpretation of the Bible.

Neither do I especially the Old Testament .

A better question is : Do you believe that The Bible is the word of God?

A better question is : Do you believe that The Bible is the word of God?

Ok I will change the question to that. Maybe I was not clear. Do you believe the Bible is the word of God. Its a cut and dry issue. Remember if you want to debate this create your own thread. So to be clear :

Do you believe the Bible in its entirety and it is the inspired word of God? Yes or No.

And B Ball Fan its it that simple. Whether you choose to make it hard is up to you. This thread was not meant to be argumentative. Just a thread for the Almighty to take note of.

I believe the Bible contains Truth. Question is too general.

"Just a thread for the Almighty to take note of."

I doubt he needs you to throw shade at BGPers.
