Pretty sure Boone used the Oakland Raiders logo at one point in the late 80's/early 90's. I'm a fan of Boone's color scheme and uniforms.

 

Boone used the Raiders logo one year 1990. Coach Hauck was not a fan of change as many of us know

I don't know who it was for certain; I remember the element of it being drawn by a Trinity teacher but the name from the story never stuck.

It wasn't a priest. Art teacher and defensive coordinator Vince Semary (sp). Later head coach at Male. I think he later left football and worked full time as an artist. First used for the 67 season. Some things are open to change. The logo isn't one of them.

The white jerseys are now just like their black ones that were previously posted, which I find far superior. I never liked the shoulder piping on their originals.

Danville is the best in this area, I think. Mercer's uniforms the last couple of years were pretty sweet. Garrard's have been good, as well. Hard to go against the Red, White, & Blue at Lincoln, but they are a distant 3rd in my opinion. I have never been a fan of all black or vegas gold, so that would put Boyle out of the discussion for me. the baby blue in Casey just kind of ruins their scheme IMO.

To each their own. I never liked the look. Liked it even less on the original black jerseys.

Cov Cath's helmets were mentioned earlier, as well as the fact that they have "COLONELS" written across the back where player names are often written instead, and I definitely like those things about our uniforms, but I would say that many of the changes from the look the uniforms had between the late-80s and the early-00s have taken the uniforms, as a whole, from traditional to milquetoast. I much prefer the white and red stripes down the legs of the pants, as well as the red outline on the lettering to the current design, and I also prefer the darker navy blue helmets and facemasks to the current royal blue helmets and white facemasks. The helmet design is still solid though, in my opinion.

I am a big fan of the CovCath helmets and jersies

Just got word that Highlands is completely revamping their image. Gone is the Block lettering. The new H on the football field is a different font along with Highlands in the endzones. The new font is suppose to follow on the uniforms. Maybe they can put the "swirly Bird" on the helmets. That would be cool!

Love those home blue on blue withe the navy lid.

I'm of course partial to Somerset's Purple, Gold and White Unis and Old Gold Helmets. Any Combo Purple on Purple, Purple on Gold, Purple on White and on and on

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

I always liked those as well.

 

Bardstown used to use a solid purple helmet with their purple and gold uni scheme that I always liked. Pretty sure they used a gold helmet at times in their past as well.

 

They've adopted a while helmet with a purple tiger paw in recent years and have not seemed to stress the gold as much. It's a nice helmet, but I'm partial to the old-school looks.
