So let me get this straight Guru. You called the people involved in the decision "Fools" so does that mean if Borchers was involved in the decision along with Trosper for Conner, you are directly calling both coaches idiots and fools? Just want to understand this in the big scheme of things.

I just had another credible source come forward and state the choice for Cooper to move to 6A was Randy Borchers' choice.

 

So now we have someone that familiar with Cooper saying it was in fact Randy Borchers' decision to move up to 6A and not the Boone County School System and we have someone familiar with the Conner situation saying it was in fact Dave Trosper's decision to move to 6A and not the Boone County School System.

 

Does anyone still want say it was the Boone County School system that made Conner and Cooper move up?

As I have said before I do not have a dog in the fight. Other than it being some very interesting reading I really don't care. However,, now that we seem to have gotten to who made the decision, is this horse officially dead? A lot of passion seems to be surrounding this particular issue and I am not sure why. Although, It has held the attention of a few people,, me included.

I care! I feel bad for the kids knowing they could be playing 5A instead of 6A. But somebody decided against that.

It should always be about the kids but in this case it looks like it is about the coaches.

I have a feeling that Coaches Trosper and Borchers know something that has not been brought to light. Football coaches, by nature, are VERY COMPETITIVE people. For them to choose to play in a higher class, thereby putting their programs at a competitive disadvantage (lower male population in their schools) , is against their nature.

 

Considering 3 Boone schools are all essentially playing up, I suspect there was influence by BCBOE.
