This is why Cozart is a better hitter this year. He got some hitting tips back in December.

We can't get too caught up in this. We botched a sacrifice bunt, popped up to 3rd with runners on the corner and 1 out, and only hit the first grand slam after an error. The problems with the offense still exist. We are not getting a lot of hits in a row, bird and hamilton are still struggling, and the bullpen has not entered the game yet.

 

On another note, I like Marquis. Its good to have an older pitcher in the game. If Homer was healthy at the beginning, Marquis would be a good choice for #4 or #5 starter. We need that veteran presence who has played on good teams. He's not as good as Bronson, but maybe can have some leadership.
