Apologies to James "Beetle" Bolden (Bolden has been added to the Team)

I comepletely agree, you lose far more credibility leaving him off, than adding him as #11 .

As stated above, the way its listed there, I didn't realize there was "only" 10 on the list to begin with. I would typically walk the company line in almost any circumstance, but this is one where I have to totally agree that the stance of not adding him as #11 is misguided and simply wrong.

I just think its a travesty that there were no Simon Kenton Players on the list. That is all....... :jump:

This should not be an issue, you are forming a list to honor and recognize kids, why would you not put a kid on the list that is a Division 1 player going to West Virginia to protect the creditability of BGP, if there has been a mistake fix it, don't delete a player deserving because of a "mistake" and then try to fix it by apologizing, if you are honoring kids, honor the kids that deserve to be on it, it the right thing to do, its about the kids, not BGP creditability, they should read some things on here and delete 85% of this website if they are concerned with creditability!!!

Creditability? I think that's where you are approved for a credit card.

I really find it hard to believe that he was left the list for any reason, simply define a tie and add Bolden to list.

They were too busy with all their DI offers to really care about some silly BGP list :lol2:

Let's be honest here folks, you look pretty awkward leaving the kid off the list. You aren't handing out the Heisman with decades of tradition behind it. Swallow your pride, or address whatever it is that is keeping you from doing the right thing here and add the kid's name. This is silly.

When I saw the list, I was dumbfounded that James Bolden was not on it.

It now makes sense that, admittedly, an error was made.

It would also make sense if James Bolden was now added and the list was eleven players in 2015.

The good news is we won't have to wait for months for this case to go to the Supreme Court for a judgment. Guru has the power! :)

And I thought I was the only one who thought the list lost credibility without him on it when I first saw it.... :lol2:

I'm sure PP2 and the BGP folks will do the right thing here. You simply can't leave off the best guard in the state and expect outsiders to view the list as "credible."

Do the players receive any recognition from this? Only asking because I don't know.

James Bolden has been added to the team. After some discussion we all felt it was the right thing to do and he is officially on the team now.

I'm thinking BGP doesn't send the players anything but many publications throughout the state publish the team so that is one form of recognition. I believe Mason County has gotten banners for their kids that have made BGP teams also.
